WPP Case Study
Facilitate were engaged as project managers to oversee the design and delivery of 5 floors in 65 Berry Street, North Sydney for WPP and it’s subsidiary companies. There were several challenges to the project which Facilitate managed closely including a very tight budget and a multitude of stakeholders.
A key challenge was working with each individual company under WPP who had differing requirements. From VMLY&R (a marketing & advertising agency), to MindShare (media) to the WPP executive management team, it was important to deliver spaces that reflected each business’s brand, culture and needs whilst adhering to certain overarching WPP requirements.
Facilitate worked closely with the head contractor and the design consultant teams to meet the tight budgetary requirements, finding innovative construction methods & materials as well as proactive value engineering solutions. The result was impressive, with a fitout that appears to be of much higher value than what the budget allowed. The businesses felt their brand identity and workplace culture was successfully represented, without losing everyday functionality.
