Oracle Aconex Melbourne Case Study
Facilitate were engaged by Oracle to manage 2,200 sqm of design construct fit out works on levels 9 and 10 at 140 Williams Street, Melbourne. The project was unique as Oracle recently acquired Aconex and wanted to keep their start up tech feel but incorporate the large global design standards of Oracle.
Key communal areas that drove office culture and cross departmental interactions were of key importance in the overall design. Acting as the ‘heart’ of the business, the centralised breakout area was designed to bring together employees regardless of where they worked, or what they did. Quiet spaces, phone booths, meeting rooms and touch down points cleverly located throughout the two levels fostered collaboration and diversity of roles. A vibey street aesthetic and attention to detail really make this office not only functional, but a great place to work.
