FDM Group appointed Facilitate to implement their first workplace in Australia. Overall the fitout is a fresh and smart monochromatic space. This simple aesthetic acts as a neutral canvas with decorative elements, such as graphics outlining FDM’s core values and photographic wallpaper with Australian outdoor scenery as main features of the space. A large, flexible town hall is located to take full advantage of the sweeping views across the harbor, creating a dynamic presentation hub during the day and an impressive function space after hours. The design of the floor finishes features a defined path winding through the space so that FDM’s training cadets and visitors to the office can easily navigate through the space.
FDM Group is renowned for their dynamic Careers Programme which provides graduates, returners to work and ex-forces personnel with award-winning business and technical training in core disciplines. The 1,200 sqm 6 Star Green Star purpose-built space includes multiple classrooms, large town hall area, kitchen breakout and collaboration spaces, a number of quiet rooms, meeting rooms and open plan workstations. Facilitate worked closely with our UK based client to ensure a smooth process through both design and construction, to deliver an excellent training facility for tomorrow’s IT professionals.
