Micro Focus engaged Facilitate to assist in site selection for their new office, resulting in a relocation to 76 Berry Street. The programme was a challenge with only 3.5 months to complete the entire project from briefing through to practical completion. To speed up the delivery process, Facilitate took on the design in house, allowing a streamlined coordination process between design, costing and delivery.
The new office was to accommodate up to 100 staff, with a combination of meeting spaces and amenity. It was a key driver for the design to provide a welcoming front of house area with some wow factor which could be utilised for client functions. Facilitate’s design team achieved this, combined with a generous breakout space with a multiscreen AV display, creating a professional, impactful first impression.
The project team managed the budget to ensure resources were suitably distributed to achieve the client’s brief of a reception with impact, appropriate acoustic requirements to meeting spaces and an engaging breakout area for staff.
