LinkedIn Case Study

LinkedIn (NYSE: LNKD) headquartered in Moutain View, California is the world’s largest professional network, with millions of members and growing rapidly.

Facilitate worked in conjunction with San Francisco based design firm, Rapt Studio, to project manage LinkedIn’s first Australian office in Melbourne. Using their employee’s invaluable input, the team focused on the feeling and energy that Melbourne as a city flourishes, to echo that back throughout the office’s aesthetic. The goal was to create an office that employees feel a sense of pride and belonging, which has worked!

The contemporary office design is characterised by its open ceiling void and eclectic mix of wall, floor and ceiling finishes. In addition to flexible open plan workspace the working environment includes collaborative meeting zones, training and conference space, wellness room and large staff café.

The project was delivered in a 10 week period.
