Expanding into a new market brings more than just a new address. It requires a workplace that reflects the organisation’s culture, supports local requirements and makes smart use of existing resources.
Facilitate was engaged to project manage the 5th-floor fit-out of Elastic’s new Barcelona office within the Entrega building in the city’s PobleNou district. Working alongside Asan Pavimentos, Areazero 2.0 and Resilient Spaces, Facilitate coordinated the delivery of the landlord fit-out while providing guidance on furniture, fixtures and equipment, building code requirements and licensing approvals.
A key priority was minimising waste. Furniture from other Elastic offices across Europe was repurposed and integrated into the new workplace, extending the life of existing assets and reducing unnecessary procurement.
Through close collaboration between all project partners, the team delivered a high-quality workplace that balances Mediterranean character with corporate functionality, creating an environment that supports both employee experience and business operations
