Facilitate acted as project manager for this sustainability‑focused workplace, one of four projects delivered for Bendigo and Adelaide Bank. From the outset, the project was guided by a strong commitment to environmental responsibility and long‑term value.
The fit‑out prioritised the reuse and upcycling of existing assets wherever possible, including furniture, lockers, meeting rooms, and bespoke joinery. By retaining and reworking these elements, the project significantly reduced waste and embodied carbon while preserving the character of the existing space.
Where new materials were required, selections were carefully considered for their low environmental impact, durability, and high recycled content, supporting the bank’s broader sustainability objectives.
An Indigenous design overlay was thoughtfully integrated, embedding cultural recognition and storytelling into the workplace.
The result is a considered, future‑focused workplace that balances environmental performance, cultural respect, and functional excellence, demonstrating how sustainable design can be meaningfully embedded without compromising quality or experience.
