Mindbody Case Study
Mindbody is the world’s leading wellness services marketplace software company that links hundreds of thousands of passionate health, wellness, and beauty professionals to the millions of clients they serve.
They engaged Facilitate to move them from an antiquated Surry Hills office which they had long outgrown into their new office at Castlereagh Street in Sydney. The brief was to keep the office light, fun and transparent with visibility and connectivity throughout.
The majority of the space is open plan workstations supported by a mixture of enclosed meeting spaces, open collaboration spaces and touch down tables. Two unique staff hubs where created to give the employees a choice depending on their mood. Energetic and Loud staff hub included spin bikes, play station and foosball. In contrast to the Relaxing and Quiet staff hub that included acoustic booths, banquettes and café tables.
Facilitate engaged with multiple Mindbody stakeholders in Sydney and California, USA which included inhouse workplace services, marketing, safety & security and IT through weekly project control group video conference meetings.
The response from the Mindbody team has been fantastic as they now have a work environment that reflects the service that they offer their clients.
The service was wonderful – Greg did an excellent job keeping records, and running meetings, making sure everything was clear and moving forward – then of course all the work he did no the back side that we did not see. Louise was wonderful – clearly a very seasoned designer who knows how to get things done, communicates well and created consensus with our varied team – both know the business of architecture very well. I know the AU staff are very happy with the space. I hope your team is happy with the project as well.
